You can other go toyour local fire department, Police department and ask for their trough numbers it will be a six digit number. Program them into your scanner.check you paper work which come with your scanner. Ther is also a book you can purchase at your local book store, whic have these channels for different areas.

Is that the square box shaped one, not hand held?
Not sure if the scanner is locked out or simply the keys



Heres a couple of design



If a key appears on the display (keypad locked), unlock the keypad by pressing and holding the LOCK button until disappears.



If the scanner is locked try to reset it. Turn it rotten, press and hold 2, 9, and Manual keys while turning it on.

I own a SHARP AM-900 MULTIFUNTIONAL SYSTEM, but I can't acquire the scan function to work. How do I move about in the order of it?

I tried going to the Sharp website and I tried downloading the PDF instruction book, though for some reason adjectives I get when I try to read the PDF instruction manual all I see is a bunch of symbols, not plain english. Can someone any tell me how to do it contained by YOUR own words how to get the scan function to work or how I can take my computer to display the PDF file surrounded by plain enlish. Thank you in finance.

do you have the TWAIN driver installed?

the print driver lately covers the the printer side function wise, you want to download and instal lthe TWAIN driver for the scanning factor, and then if they enjoy a software for scanning ( as TWAIN is a protocol that other software resembling photoediting, desktop publishing software supports )..

The instructions are a bit lengthy and depends on which type of program\s you enjoy installed on the computer that the scanner is connected to.





I suggest you UNinstall the version of Adobe Reader you enjoy installed and go to Adobe and download the NEWEST edition available.



I checked their PDF file and it displayed flawlessly, Just ot be sure I also checked it on 2 of my other computers and they also displayed correctly.

if it has an headset jack thats ushally the problem.if not try a same size speaker.
Depending on the type of scanner, your speaker, speaker lead, or connection have probably broken. You can open your scanner up and check for this. Email me for more info.

didn't your scanner come with a disc? It should have, reinstall it.
Well afterwards you need some software, don't you.



Dell doesn't own it, Microsoft doesn't have it, and it's not here.



Let's start here, you own, an um, HP printer, right?

Identify the architect of the devices. Then go to their webpage. They should enjoy a downloads section where on earth you can enter the model number or browse to the model of your device and download the "drivers" and sometimes other software that may have come near the device.
If U still have the serious newspaper work write 2 the company & tell them U Lost it they might dispatch U a Replacement.Good Luck
go to the companies trellis site and download the drivers you need.
Contact the manufacturer, giive them the model and serial number of the scanner and monitor you have and ask for replacement disks. Most will distribute them for free. Be sure and tell them your operating system ie Macintosh, window 98, windows XP etc. Epson is particularly helpful contained by these matters and I use them because of it but other manufacturer are too I'm sure.
