I AM FORMATING MY SYSTEM. I AM USING WINDOWS 98 BOOTABLE BUT WHEN THE PARTICIAN WILL FINISHED AFTER WORDS IT RESTARS MY COMPUTER AND I AM GETTING THE MESSAGE THAT OPERATING SYSTEM MISSING (I CHECKED RAM AND HARDDISK IT IS WORKING FINE IN OTHER SYSYTEM ) WHAT WILL BE THE PROBLEM HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT THAT PROBLEM

You didn't format correctly and the problem is mostly within the partitions..



Just try reinstalling window again but this time try deleting adjectives partitions and consequently using the unpartitioned space (Your whole tricky disk size) for installing windows.. you can barrier that with a program then on if you want but install windows close to that first..

If it is saying no OS found your formatting be successfull, now you involve to get into the bios blind so you can set it up to boot from CD, afterwards restart it with the cd within the drive and everything should go okay. If you want on the XP install,when it asks you to format drive,NTFS, go ahead and do that. apposite luck,
If the HDD and Ram working fine in other systems the solely fault lies surrounded by the motherboard(graphics). U must be using a ancient one, time to upgrade.
1) Are you sure your copy of Windows is a genuine edition?

If not, whoever you bought it off have ripped you off near missing files. Also, does the Windows install on any other computer?

2) Are you sure you're computer meets the System Requirements?

3) Your compact disc could be broken.
