In instruct for my scanner to work I have to step into the bios and disable the usb 2.0 mode for my usb ports, so they only support 1.1. I tried installing trial drivers from the chipset manufacturer (via). I enjoy the via k8x800 chipset on my albatron pro 2 motherboard. My printer works with the 2.0 driver enabled, but my microtek i520 scanner doesn't. And yes the scanner is made for usb 2.0.
I can't win my scanner to work near my usb 2.0 ports.?
Contact your scanner businessman and get the most recent USB 2.0 Drivers for the Scanner.
Download latest Windows XP (assuming that anyone the OS) Service Pack.
