How do you scan on a HP Photosmart printer?

I hold an HP Photosmart C4180 All-in-One Printer, and I don't know how to scan pictures onto my computer. I tried pressing "scan menu" and "start scan" but nothing is up.

help!!

How do you scan on a HP Photosmart printer?

Its not a big operation.. try this alternative method



1) Click on START> ALL PROGRAMS > HP > HP SOLUTION CENTER.

2) Once the HP Solution Center opens up, click on SCAN PICTURE or SCAN DOCUMENT (depending upon what you want to scan)

3) Now click on the SCAN button and you would see the Preview of the picture placed on the scanner bed.

4) Click on ACCEPT button, the scanner will scan the picture and retrieve it in the My Scans folder beneath the My Documents folder.

Did you load the software that come with the printer? if so my h p scanner have a icon on the lower right bottom toolbar in recent times click on to it and it should bring it up .also when you load something into the scanner pick up the front and load it the top you should see arrow on front right that’s the top to nouns, also check all programs for h p printer god and your desktop lay your pics face down on cup top right next to arrow

also the scann button on the printer is for scan you need right in a minute.but that button will not scan into the computer you have to use the god
