How does a scannner operate?
How does a scannner operate?
it works resembling a digital cam ... it scan each dash of the page, and convert it from analoge to digital form .. depending on the dpi ( dot per inch ) , the no. of pixels generated is select ...
Put the paper u want to scan surrounded by... press button. Save it on the hard drive.
A scanner operate by converting the image of the be reluctant placed on it to electrical impulses and, further, into binary digits.
The doubt reflects the night light coming from the ligh-source of the scanner. That reflected reading light is directed through an opical system to a CCD sensor. The CCD sensor is made out of cells containing respectively a fototransistor sensitive to one of the three fundamental colours (red, yellow or blue).
At the exit of the CCD sensor we find an electrical signal that represents a portion (a line) of the doll. Next, the CCD is moved and another line-signal is obtained, and so on until the entire scan area is covered.
Next, the signals are transformed into digital signals and transfered to the computer. The computer puts together the lines of the figure obtaining the entire digital picture of the intention placed on the scanner.
