How to? Want to scan documents to word; type on them (fill within blanks) and than print them.?

How - do I do it? I own several documents that I need to complete for Social Security. I would similar to to put the documents on the computer, type on the documents or fill out the documents and than print them out for submission to Social Security Administration. These documents are not contained by the SS forms list and enjoy bar codes on them so element is important. How do I do it?

If you hold Adobe Acrobat Writer you can scan in the docs, and insert certificate boxes. It won't work if you have one and only the Reader, which is what most users have (free download).

EDIT: I wouldn't recommend OCR'ing a affairs of state document. They're mostly tables, and OCR'ing it a short time ago makes a huge mess contained by Word. Believe me I've tried.
scan it, select all, copy and smooth mixture to a word document.
You need a scanner beside OCR (optical character recognition) software. This will scan the document and distribute it to word for editing.

Most modern day scanners enjoy this technology, some older ones do not.

It's justly easy to do and user friendly, purely follow the on-screen steps when you open up the scanner software on your notebook.

Hope this helps.
